Practice Profile

Greet Medical Practice a PMS practice and it is situated in Greet Health Centre in the Heart of Birmingham and also has access to diagnostic treatments for patients i.e. Ultrasound Scan, x-ray, Gynaecology etc.  There is ample parking for patients and disabled access.  The premises are secured by CCTV.

The practice has four Doctors, and it is also a training practice and it is involved in research with the clinical Research Network Primary care based at the University of Birmingham

The practice has a list size of over 5,000 patients. There are currently 2 full time GP partners, 1 salaried GP and 1 full time trainee.  Practice staff comprises of 1 Practice Manager, 1 Business Manager, 1 Practice Nurse, 2 Health Care Assistants, 3 Medical Secretaries and 4 Receptionists. Our attached staff consists of Health Visitors, District Nurses Midwives, Drug Worker, Social worker and Health Exchange Worker.

When the surgery is closed, our out-of-hours service is provided by Prime Care who provides patients with urgent care and advice.

Disabled Access

Our Surgery is accessible to patients using a wheelchair.

    Patients information Christmas and New Year Holiday 18-2019

    25th, 26th Dec 2018 for Christmas and 1st Jan for new years the practice will be closed. please order/collect prescription in advance. if you call 111 when you need medical help,fast but its not a 999 emergency.You will be assessed,given advice and directed straightway to the local service that can help you best.That could be A & E,an Urgentcare Centre or Minor injuries Unit,an out hours GP, Community nurse,emergency dentist or a late opening pharmacist. For immediate,life-threatening emergencies ,continue to call 999. Fax line will be available as normal. There will be the availablity of late evening pharmacies over the Christmas and new year.
